The Oil Exploration Company Holds a Specialized Workshop on uses of Omega and Petrel Systems

 The Oil Exploration Company, Processing Department, held a specialized workshop entitled “Advanced Packages for the Omega System and Applications of Building the Velocity Model in the Petrel System,” in Mohammed Fawzi Hall on Tue. 2/7/2024.                                                                                         

Attended by the Assistant Director General for Administrative Affairs, Mr. Hussein S. Odeh,  a number of managers of divisions and departments, and a number of specialists in this field,                                                       the workshop was delivered by the senior geologist, Mr. Muhannad I. Mahdi, and focused on several main topics, including the advanced processors in the time and depth fields, in addition to a comparison between the North of  (2D) Al-Ukhaydher project and Block 10 project.                                      

 This workshop is in line with the policy and priorities of Oil Exploration Company and Senior Management in holding courses, seminars and lectures aimed to develop the exploration work.                                                                                                

 It also comes within the strategy of the Ministry of Oil, which seeks to explore the oil and gas reservoirs, increase production and compensate the depleted using advanced technology in the exploration of new hydrocarbon reservoirs.
