The Director General of Oil Exploration Company participates in the meeting of discussing the preparation of the budget for 2024 of extraction sector companies

The Director General of Oil Exploration Company, Dr. Osama R. Hussein, participated on Wed. 20/12/2023 at al-Rumaila Hall in the meeting chaired by the Deputy of Oil Ministry for Extraction Affairs, the expert, Mr. Basim M. Khudhair, to discuss the preparation of the planning budget for 2024, in the presence of the directors general of the extraction sector companies and the concerned departments in the Ministry.

During the meeting, they discussed a number of subjects, the most important of which are the current and future visions for implementing the projects of extraction sector companies, the effective instructions and laws for preparing the budget of the next year, and the method of implementation according to the regulations and plans established and in accordance with the Ministry’s vision.

Accordingly, the deputy directed, during the meeting, to expedite the preparation of budgets for extraction companies and review the concerned schedules and programs, as well as the possibility of  implementing the strategic projects in accordance with the approved standards, and discussing them in detail to get the Ministry of Finance approval and working according them.
