Oil Exploration Company Implements Internal Audit Tour of Energy Management System

Within the commitment to the directives of the National Initiative to Support Energy and Reduce Emissions, Oil Exploration Company implemented the second audit tour of the energy management system. The inaugural meeting of the audit process was held under the chairmanship of the company's Director General, Dr. Osama Raouf Hussein on Sunday 27 October 2024.

During the meeting, the audit team was welcomed, and the management emphasized the importance of adhering to the implementation of the necessary regulations and standards to activate the energy management system, which contributes to achieving the company's strategic objectives and enhances its role in meeting operational requirements.

The Director General emphasized the company's full support for the audit team, by providing the necessary resources and following up on the implementation of procedures to achieve the highest levels of quality and efficiency. At the end of the meeting, the Director General of the company praised the efforts of the audit team and urged them to continue working accurately and inform the company of any new observations to ensure full compliance with the energy management system, in order to obtain a certificate of conformity as part of the efforts of the oil formations to achieve the highest levels of international accreditation in energy management.

The audit team was accompanied by employees from the Quality Management Section, headed by the Section Managert, Mr. Muhannad Yaseen Mahdi, where the required observations were recorded and work was done to overcome any non-conforming cases in accordance with the requirements of the international specification ISO 5001: 2018.
