Oil Exploration Company Honors Distinguished Department Managers

Under the patronage of Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil, Mr. Hayan Abdul Ghani Al-Sawad, and in the presence of Oil Exploration Company (OEC) Director General, Mr. Osama Raouf Hussein, OEC organized a celebration today, Monday, January 20, 2025, under the slogan "Excellence in Performance Towards a Promising Future", to honor distinguished department managers, in appreciation of their distinguished efforts and contributions to achieving tangible achievements, in Muhammad Fawzi Hall at OEC headquarters.

The celebration included honoring the managers of the Engineering, Finance, and HSE departments, which obtained advanced positions according to the corresponding departments report for the year 2024, issued by the Quality and Institutional Performance Evaluation Department at the Ministry of Oil. The Engineering Department won first place among the service formations at the level of the Ministry of Oil, while the Financial Department came in second place among the financial and accounting formations at the level of the Ministry of Oil, while the HSE Department came in third place within HSE formations.

In an opening speech delivered by OEC Director General, he expressed his thanks and appreciation to the department managers for their efforts and dedication to work, stressing that these achievements are the result of continuous cooperation and high commitment. He stressed the need to continue working with the same spirit to achieve OEC future goals and enhance its position in the oil sector.

The Director General also extended his deep thanks to all OEC employees, appreciating their role in supporting the path of success, and stressing that these continuous efforts reflect the spirit of sincerity and creativity to build a prosperous Iraq. At the end of the ceremony, the Director General distributed shields of excellence to the honored department managers and their staff, calling on OEC staff to continue providing the best to serve the oil sector and our beloved country.
