Oil Exploration Company Holds a Workshop on Electronic Ordering and Digital Transformation

In implementation of directions of the Council of Ministers General Secretariat about digital transformation with direct support from OEC Senior Management, a technical workshop entitled "Electronic Ordering and Digital Transformation" was held on Tue. 30/7/2024 at Ninawa Hall under the auspices and attendance of OEC Director General, Dr. (Osama R. Hussein), the Assistant Director General for Technical and Administrative Affairs, the Managers of the relevant divisions and departments, and a number of the company’s employees.

The workshop, organized by the Information and Communications Technology Department - Programming Section, included a lecture presented by Eng. (Hani M. Khudhair), where the topic of digital transformation and its impact on improving transparency and reducing time, effort and costs related to electronic ordering procedures was addressed.

A new network program that is characterized by high flexibility and confidentiality was presented. It includes the use of electronic signature for the first time. This program is considered a unique initiative implemented by OEC by its own efforts.

The workshop witnessed an active participation from the attendees, where valuable notes and discussions which will be taken into consideration to improve the effectiveness of the program and achieve the goals of digital transformation were exchanged.
