Oil Exploration Company Holds a Technical Workshop with Schlumberger to Discuss Future Cooperation

Oil Exploration Company held a technical workshop in cooperation with Schlumberger to discuss the ways of joint cooperation between the two companies according to the applicable controls and instructions by providing technical support in the fields of designing, processing and interpreting seismic surveys for national and foreign effort projects.

The workshop was held on 22/7/2024 at Ninawa Hall in the presence of OEC Director General for Technical Affairs, Mr. Abbas M. Ali, managers of the relevant divisions and departments and specialists, in addition to a number of specialists from Schlumberger.

 Schlumberger specialists made a presentation in which they reviewed software and modern technologies available at the company and the possibility of supporting Oil Exploration Company from them.

The workshop emphasized the importance of continuing these meetings and workshops for achieving future cooperation between the two companies, which enhances the development of joint work and contributes to achieving the strategic goals of both parties.
