Inclusion of Contract Employees (Decision No. 315) In Health Insurance Service, As Most Important Thing Discussed in OEC Board of Directors Meeting

Oil Exploration Company (OEC) Board of Directors held its 8th session in 2024, on Wednesday, 28 August, at the Nineveh Hall at the company's headquarters, chaired by Dr. Osama Raouf Hussein and attended by board members. The meeting reviewed the agenda items, the HSE Department report, the Financial Department report, the seismic crews’ activities and productivity during August, as well as the obstacles facing the workflow and ways to solve them.

In a move that reflects the commitment of OEC senior management to improve the well-being of its employees, the Board of Directors voted to include contract employees working under Decision No. 315 in the health insurance service. This initiative comes as part of OEC’s strategy aimed at improving the work environment and enhancing the benefits of its employees. The efforts of OEC Citizens Affairs Section played a role in coordinating and facilitating the procedures necessary to successfully achieve this decision.
