Geology and Geophysics Division Organizes Lecture on Completion, Workover and Artificial Lift Techniques in Oil Wells

The Geology and Geophysics Division, represented by Exploration Studies Department and in cooperation with Training and Development Department, organized a specialized lecture entitled “Completion, Workover and Artificial Lift”, presented by Assistant Chief Engineer Mr. Ali Mizban Dakhil, in Muhammad Fawzi Hall, on Tuesday, 5 November 2024.

The lecture touched on a number of vital topics, including well completion techniques and types, and their role in supporting hydrocarbon production operations in line with the company’s plans to drill exploratory and appraisal wells. The lecture also provided comprehensive information on reclamation and artificial lift techniques, with the aim of developing the technical knowledge of specialists and enhancing their technical skills. The event was attended by a number of experts and specialists from the Geology and Geophysics Division and Processing Department, which added to enriching discussion and exchanging scientific expertise in this field.
