Emphasizing on the continuation of work to raise the level of productivity was the most important issue of the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Oil Exploration Company

The Board of Directors of the Oil Exploration Company held on Tue. 28/11/2023 at Ninawa Hall in the company’s headquarters its 11th session for 2023, chaired by Dr. Osama R. Hussein and in the presence of board members.
The issues on the agenda, the report of HSE Department and the number of safe working hours for seismic crews were reviewed. The Financial Department’s report, the activities and productivity of the seismic crews during November and VSP were also discussed.
The Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors according to the internal regulations and the Public Companies Law was elected, where the D.G Assistant for Technical Affairs, Mr. Abbas M. Ali, was chosen as the Deputy Chairman of the Board.
At the end of the meeting, the Director General directed to provide the necessary support and capabilities for workers in the seismic crews, as they represent the core of the exploratory work, and to continue striving to raise the production efficiency and overcome obstacles facing the workflow.
