Director General of Oil Exploration Company Receives Mayor of Al-Hartha District to Discuss Expanding Its Basic Design

The Director General of Oil Exploration Company, Dr. Osama Raouf Hussein, received today the Mayor of Al-Hartha District, Mr. Nazir Al-Shawi, to discuss ways to expand the basic design of Al-Hartha District in Basra Governorate. During the meeting, the great importance of this project was discussed, as it is directly linked to a number of vital projects that contribute to improving services and developing infrastructure in the district.

Dr. Osama Raouf Hussein pointed out that this project is an important step in enhancing local development and raising the level of services provided to the residents of the region, and at the same time, the applicable laws, controls and instructions must be taken into consideration.

For his part, Mr. Nazir Al-Shawi expressed his thanks and appreciation to Oil Exploration Company for its efforts in overcoming obstacles and supporting service projects that serve the people of Basra Governorate, stressing that these projects contribute to enhancing local development and improving the living conditions of the population. These efforts come within the framework of the Ministry of Oil keenness to support sustainable development and social projects that contribute to improving the standard of living in areas hosting oil activities.
