Director General of Oil Exploration Company Receives a delegation of consortium of Kuwait Energy and UEG Companies to Enhance Joint Cooperation

The Director General of Oil Exploration Company, Dr. Osama R. Hussein, received on Mon. 15/7/2024 a delegation of the consortium of Kuwait Energy Company and the Chinese UEG Oil Services Company.

The discussions focused on the development and exploration of Al-Faw Block in Al-Basra Governorate. The Director General stressed the importance of the role of the upstream sector in enhancing the economic growth of the country. He also expressed his wishes of success to UEG in its mission to implement the project successfully.

This meeting comes within the Oil Exploration Company’s endeavor to enhance cooperation with leading companies at the regional and international levels to enhance exploration capabilities and achieve mutual gains in the oil and gas sector.
