Board of Directors of Oil Exploration Company Holds Its 6th Session, Headed by Dr. Osama R. Hussein
The Board of Directors of Oil Exploration Company held its 6th session on Sun. 30/6/2024, headed by the Company’s Director General and the head of the Board of Directors, Dr. Osama R. Hussein.
During the meeting, all topics about the company’s work progress were discussed, with focusing on implementing the seismic survey programs and reviewing completion rates during June. The Financial Department’s report and the Health, Safety and Environment Department’s report were also presented.
The Board of Directors discussed the items on the agenda and took the necessary decisions regarding them. In addition, it discussed the activities and work of the Subcommittee (National Strategy for Integrity and Anti-Corruption) during the second quarter of the year, where a detailed report was presented by a member of the Subcommittee and notes were made on the report by Council’s members.
The meeting also included a discussion of the minutes of the Subcommittee on Support of the Popular Mobilization Forces and Community Initiatives, as it was unanimously agreed to award financial assistance to a number of employees in the company. The Director General stressed during the session the importance of concerted efforts to ensure the implementation of programs and projects according to the specified timetable, stressing commitment to the highest standards of quality and safety.
