An extraordinary achievement: The 5th Seismic Crew defies difficulties and makes advanced achievement rates in (2D Ali Al-Gharbi - Shehabi) program
As a part of the Oil Exploration Company’s continuous endeavor to explore and invest the hydrocarbon wealth in the region in an optimal manner, and despite the great challenges it faced, the staff of the 5th Seismic Crew succeeded in achieving advanced completion rates in 2D Ali Al-Gharbi - Shehabi program.
Work began on 7/3/2023, when the crew’s personnel achieved the seismic survey within Wasit - Maysan governorates and achieved a high rate of completion compared to the total size of the program, which is 1,966.35 km length, a number of points were recorded, amounting to 23,449 points, by the personal and dedication efforts of the crew’s staff.
In a statement, the Director General of the Oil Exploration Company, Dr. Osama R. Hussein, praised the great achievement that had been achieved and said, “With the help of God and the great technical national efforts of the heroes of the 5th seismic crew, a great percentage of completion has been achieved in (Ali Al-Gharbi - Shehabi) program. This is evidence of the keenness and the dedication of our sons in the 5th Seismic crew to work hard and sincerely and achieve the company’s goals in searching for new hydrocarbon reservoirs, which contributes effectively in supporting the national economy”.
