A Lecture on Sand Reservoirs That Contain Muds

The quality control department, in cooperation with the training and development department, held a training course for geologists at the OEC, entitled “the reservoir containing muds course’ at the Mohammed Fawzi hall from 24-28/1/2021.

The course included several axes, including identifying the types of muds and their relationship to the sand used, calculating the size of the shales, the effect of mud on well records and the equations used in calculating the water saturation and the volumetric equation for calculating the hydrocarbon storage. And also get to identify some types of sensors and petrophysical properties of rocks.
