Training and Development Department

Tasks

  • Preparing the annual training plan of the company and seismic crews.
  • Implementing the company's annual training plan by 100%.
  • Preparing the annual plan of postgraduate studies inside and outside Iraq.
  • Preparing the five-year plan of postgraduate studies inside and outside Iraq.
  • Preparing (monthly, quarterly, annual) reports on the performance and achievements of the department.
  • Obtaining official approvals for granting study leaves (master's and doctorate) inside and outside Iraq.
  • Summer student training based on the cultural cooperation agreement between Oil Exploration Company and Iraqi universities.

 The department consists of the following sections and units:

 First - Internal Training Section:-

Its tasks are summarized in preparing the annual training plan (inside Iraq) and following up the implementation of on-site training courses inside the company, the central courses implemented by the Training and Development Directorate and external courses (in ministries and universities) as well as implementing summer training for Iraqi university students. It consists of two units:-

A- Central Courses Unit.

B- On-site Courses and Summer Training Unit.

Second- External Training Section:-

Its tasks are summarized in preparing the annual training plan (outside Iraq) according to the needs and nature of our company's work in cooperation with the Training and Development Directorate, in addition to responding to external invitations and participating in workshops and conferences, as well as preparing postgraduate studies plans (annual and five-year) and following up on their implementation according to the actual need of our company and following up the continuation of the study of scholarship students.

 It consists of two units:-

 A- Postgraduate Studies and Academic Education Unit. B- Delegations and Outside Iraq Training Unit.

 

 

Third - E-Training Section: -

 Its tasks are summarized in implementing and following up the training courses that are held via online learning by including these courses in the annual training plan, announcing their implementation monthly on our company's official website, collecting nominations via the electronic nomination form, selecting participants according to eligibility according to the numbers that have been determined by Training and Development Directorate and then connecting the participants and starting training via Google classroom, then supervision, follow-up and evaluation of electronic training and preparation of participant certificates for trainees. It consists of two units: -

 A- E-Training Unit.

 B- Follow-up and E-Training Evaluation Unit.
