On Sun. 30/9/2018, a Lecture titled “Analyses and Interpretations of Gravitational and Magnetic Informations” was held at Mohammed Fawzi Hall, attended by OEC’s Director General, 1st Deputy and a number of Specialist Staff.                                                                                                                                   

        The Lecture which was given by Mr. Salar.S.Hassan, Assistant Chief Geologists / Interpretations Department, dealt with the history of Gravitational and Magnetic Record implemented in Iraq and how to use them technically for Structural and Hydrocarbon Exploration, in addition to its integration with Field Survey Operations, Processing of Seismic Lines and remove the Structural Model from Time Domain to Depth Domain.                                                                                                                      

          At the end of the Lecture, the Director General praised the efforts of Interpretations Department’s Staff, stressing the need to hold Periodic Workshops and Lectures concerning the applications of Analyses and Interpretations of Gravitational and Magnetic Informations for using in Exploratory Operations.
