Under the Directives of OEC’s Director General to make Presentations for Company’s Studies, a Lecture titled “Atlas of Geochemical Specifications for Oil of Exploratory Wells in Iraq” was held on 13/9/2018 attended by Director General, DG’s Deputies and a number of Competent Staff in the Company, the Lecture was given by Mrs. Ilham Khalid Hassan (Senior Chief Chemists) in Laboratories Department.

          The Lecture included studying of chemical specifications for Oil of Exploratory and Evaluation Wells in Iraq, the nature of Oil and its physiochemical properties by calculating density according to (API) and making maps at the levels      of (Triassic, Jurassic and Early Cretaceous) Periods.

           As well as, a Lecture titled (Studying of Seismic Data for (2D) West Najaf Block) was held on 18/9/2018 by Mr. Ammar Ahmed Jaber (Senior Geologist) in Interpretations Department. He discussed the updating of Structural Image of studying area by using modern technologies in (Petrel-2015) Program to give more accurate image, confirming previously and newly discovered Structures, and constructing a Geological Model in temporal and depth Fields based on (temporal and depth) Surfaces to clarify Structural Image and how affected by Normal Cracks from a (3D-Visualization) perspective.
