After the enactment of Law No. 80 of 1961, under which Iraq regained control of all Iraqi land and kept the companies limited control fields exclusively produced in view of this new situation and to exploit the oil wealth founded Iraq's new Iraqi national oil company and with the aim of exploiting the oil wealth founded the Iraq National Oil Company of Iraq.
